Editorial Policy

Last updated: September 3, 2026

Frizzell Heritage Music exists to preserve country-music history, document artist careers, examine albums and songs, and offer informed musical perspective. This Editorial Policy explains how we research, write, review, correct, and monetize our work.

Editorial Independence

Editorial conclusions are determined by the publication, not by advertisers, affiliate partners, publicists, labels, artists, or other outside parties. Advertising relationships do not guarantee favorable coverage. Reviews reflect the honest opinion of the credited writer.

Research and Sourcing

We aim to rely on primary and authoritative sources whenever practical, including official artist and label materials, direct interviews, verified award and chart organizations, reputable publications, liner notes, performance records, and established music institutions. We compare sources when facts conflict and avoid presenting rumor as confirmed information.

Articles may summarize publicly available reporting, but our goal is to add context, organization, interpretation, musical analysis, and a clear explanation of why the subject matters. Links may be included so readers can explore important sources directly.

Authorship and Expertise

Frizzell Heritage Music is founded and edited by Taylor Frizzell, a musician, guitarist, instructor, and member of the Frizzell musical family. The site’s analysis is informed by practical experience with guitar, performance, songwriting, multiple musical genres, and the history associated with the Frizzell name.

Reviews and Opinion

Reviews and rankings are inherently subjective. We evaluate work using factors such as songwriting, musicianship, vocals, arrangement, production, originality, emotional impact, historical context, and replay value. Opinion is presented as opinion rather than objective fact.

Accuracy, Updates, and Corrections

We strive for accuracy, but artist careers and music-industry information continue to change. Important biographies and guides may be updated to reflect new releases, awards, tours, or verified information. When we discover a meaningful factual error, we correct it promptly and, when appropriate, clarify the change.

Readers, artists, representatives, and rights holders may submit a correction or concern through our Contact page. Please identify the page, disputed statement, and supporting source. Requests are reviewed editorially and do not guarantee removal or alteration.

Artificial Intelligence and Editorial Review

Digital research or writing tools, including artificial-intelligence tools, may assist with brainstorming, organization, transcription, research planning, or editing. Such tools are not treated as authoritative sources. Published work remains subject to human selection, review, revision, and responsibility. Facts should be verified against credible sources before publication.

Images, Music, and Embedded Media

We aim to use original, licensed, permission-based, public-domain, appropriately attributed, or lawfully embedded media. Third-party materials remain the property of their owners. Rights holders may contact us with a specific concern for review.

Advertising, Affiliates, and Complimentary Access

Articles may contain advertising or affiliate links, and the publication may receive products, music, tickets, or advance access for consideration. Material relationships will be disclosed when relevant. Compensation does not purchase a predetermined opinion. See our Affiliate & Advertising Disclosure.

Community Standards

We welcome good-faith discussion and disagreement. We may moderate or remove spam, harassment, threats, discriminatory abuse, impersonation, infringement, or unrelated promotional material.
